In Act II, Dan is played by Dashan Hou, who joined the Shenzhen Troupe after winning a local competition in which he was named best in his age group – after only one year of training!

Shenzhen Foot Juggling
As Dan's Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® adventure escalates, the Shenzhen Acrobatic Troupe, accompanied by their fellow countrymen, the Yunnan Acrobatic Troupe, reappears to perform an incredible display of traditional foot juggling as they collectively "take it to the next level" in the Dream Circus Video Game. Mom, Dad, Jan and the entire audience cheer enthusiastically from the sidelines as Dan enters into the life-sized "video screen" and – a bit slow out of the box – steadily gains momentum to demonstrate a series of astounding feats (or "feets") that culminate in Dan being crowned "King of the Circus!"
