"In dressage, as in the drill, riders and horses are partners working in perfect harmony."
Cossack Drill
It is one of the Cossacks riders that leaps onto the arena floor to herald the opening of the 136th Edition of The Greatest Show On Earth® and from that moment on, these dazzling and daring athletes are a recurring element in the show's story line – much to audiences' delight. In their first presentation, the Cossacks execute a display of classic dressage and precision group drill movements. Led off by a statuesque Andalusian stallion demonstrating a stunning Spanish walk, 12 horses and riders then embark on what can only be described as a corps de ballet on horseback.
